In the immediate vicinity of Domaine des Agnelles you can find numerous beautiful cities.
Absolute must sees are: Narbonne (9km), Beziers (30km) and Carcassonne (50 km).
Carcassonne is the largest walled city of Europe and boasts a castle, a wonderful Gothic cathedral and beautiful small alleys and streets.
A little further afield but none the less worth the trip are: Toulouse (130km), Montpellier (70km) an Perpignan (70km).
Small villages like Minerve or Lagrasse are very idyllic and also worth a visit. Spend time at the local weekly market with fresh produce, cycle along the wonderful Canal du Midi or enjoy a leisurely French lunch with a nice glass of wine.
For those who enjoy the sunshine and beaches; the Mediterranean Sea with beaches stretching as far as the eye can see, can be found at a mere 22 km distance. Wind and kite surfing can be enjoyed at one of the many sea-lakes. You can spot flamenco’s and pelicans at these lakes as well.
